Aspheric mirror condenser 2-component TOR-2

An aberration-free, two-component condenser for multipurpose use. It contains an aspheric focusing mirror and a flat mirror that eliminates the optical axis bend. The mirror is characterized with no chromatic aberration, no astigmatism and no vertical magnification. Depending on its position within the optical system, it effectively completes the following tasks:

- Coupling a light source to a monochromator
- Focusing radiation exiting the monochromator onto a sample
- Collecting radiation from a sample and focusing it onto the monochromator's entrance slit.
