Achromatic objective LA-15 and LA-15-OUT

Achromatic objective LA-15 and LA-15-OUT

A two-lens objective, designed to minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations, is used to focus parallel light beams into an optical fiber and to produce quasi-collimated beams after an optical fiber or monochromator. It contains achromatic lenses, optimized for the UV spectral range, and is equipped with an interchangeable SMA-905/FC fiber connector.

  • Operating spectral range: 200 – 2000nm
  • Clear aperture: 15mm
  • Focal length: 38mm
  • Aperture angle: 19 degrees (F/2.9)
  • Replaceable connector SMA-905 or FC

In the LA-15-OUT configuration, the objective is installed on the exit slit of M140, M300, M500, or M700 monochromator-spectrographs and provides a collimated light beam with a diameter of 15 mm exiting the monochromator.
It should be noted that two-component objectives have limited chromatic aberration compensation capabilities. When operating in a broad spectral range including UV and IR, it is recommended to use mirror-based parabolic optics.
