Achromatic 2-component focusing adapter DA-15
The DA-15 is an achromatic adapter consisting of two LA-15 objectives, designed to minimize spherical and chromatic aberrations. Each objective contains achromatic lenses, optimized for the UV spectral range. The adapter is equipped with an interchangeable SMA-905/FC fiber connector.
The DA-15 series adapter is a multipurpose component and, depending on the design, performs the following functions:
- Collecting radiation from an object located 40 mm from the adapter housing and focusing the radiation into an optical fiber (DA-15 modification)
- Directing radiation from an optical fiber into a monochromator with aperture matching (DA-15-IN modification)
- Focusing radiation exiting the monochromator onto a sample (DA-15-OUT modification)
The DA-15-IN and DA-15-OUT adapter modifications are fixed to the entrance and exit slits, respectively. Adapters can be mounted on the order-sorting filter wheel.
It should be noted that two-component objectives have limited chromatic aberration compensation capabilities. When operating in a broad spectral range including UV and IR, it is recommended to use mirror optics.
