Cassegrain objectives to collect radiation into the optical fiber
Due to its reflective design, the Cassegrain objective is inherently achromatic and anastigmatic. The large aperture of the primary mirror allows Cassegrain objectives to be used effectively for collecting radiation from distant objects. Several Cassegrain objective designs are presented below, differing in the distance from the objective housing to the radiation source.
Cassegrain objective model CO-190
Designed for collecting radiation from objects located 190 mm from the objective housing, it contains a focusing mirror system and is both achromatic and anastigmatic.
Cassegrain objective model CO-360
Designed for collecting radiation from objects located 368 mm from the objective housing, it contains a focusing mirror system and is both achromatic and anastigmatic.
Cassegrain objective model СO-1000
Designed for collecting radiation from objects located from 1000 mm to 1500 mm from the objective housing, it contains a focusing mirror system and is both achromatic and anastigmatic.
Cassegrain objective model СO-3500
Designed for collecting radiation from objects located from 3500 mm to infinity from the objective housing, it contains a focusing mirror system and is both achromatic and anastigmatic.
Cassegrain objective model CO-190
Designed for collecting radiation from objects located 190 mm from the objective housing, it contains a focusing mirror system and is both achromatic and anastigmatic.
